Lighting is an essential function of the home space. In some homes, due to improper design, resulting in insufficient light or wasted energy, there are six suggestions listed below to help you improve your home lighting experience.

1. Energy-saving light bulb

In places where the frequency of use of the kitchen and the passageway is relatively high, these bulbs should be replaced with energy-saving lamps. This type of energy-saving lamp has many advantages, such as saving a certain amount of electricity every month, reducing energy consumption, and reducing heat generation.

2. Replace old lamps

After the bulb has been used for a certain period of time, it becomes more power-hungry and dangerous. Regular replacement of the old bulb can reduce power consumption and ensure safe use.

3. Improve living room lighting

Living room space generally does not require too much ceiling light and task lighting, and reasonable use of auxiliary lighting helps to reduce glare on the TV screen. If you read the books quietly in the living room, you can provide plenty of light from a floor lamp.

4. Adjust the height of the chandelier

Most families install chandeliers on the dining table. In order to achieve the basic lighting of the restaurant space without affecting the decorative effect of the chandelier, in general, the bottom of the chandelier is about 75~80 cm from the top of the table.

5. The lampshade is more able to control the light

The lampshade increases the use of light. Light-colored shades help to diffuse light in a spacious space, while dark shades concentrate light and focus light on where it is used.

6. Add auxiliary lighting

When the night comes back from outside, the lack of light can create a sense of fear. Therefore, you need to add auxiliary lighting at the door so that you don't have to explore the keys in the dark.
